I love this ad for Miss Dior Chérie, shot by Tim Walker. The TV commercial, which will debut in March, is directed by Sofia Coppola who possesses a real sensitivity to the Parisian aesthetic and really captures the Left Bank style (maybe because she lives there. So do I, and maybe that’s why I like it). Natalie Portman is the perfect spokesperson for the iconic perfume, and it’s all in the details: she truly looks like a brunette Bardot with her pose, her doe eyes and the ribbon in her hair. Very Chérie.
